Privacy & DPDP notice
How F-Talk collects, uses, protects and shares your information — in plain language. Last updated: July 2026.
F-Talk Private Limited ("F-Talk", "we") acts as a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). This notice explains what we do with your personal data and the rights you have.
1. What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email, company name.
- Engagement information: documents and data you share so we can provide a service (which may include KYC, financial or audit records).
- Website usage: basic analytics such as pages viewed and device type.
2. Why we use it (purpose)
- To respond to your enquiry and deliver the services you ask for.
- To meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
- To contact you about your engagement. We use your data only for these purposes and do not sell it.
3. Your consent
When you submit a form or share documents, you consent to us processing that data for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us — withdrawal is as easy as giving consent, and we'll stop processing (except where the law requires us to keep records).
4. How we protect it
We apply reasonable security safeguards: access on a need-to-know basis, confidentiality agreements with our team and associates, and secure handling of documents. Where we use service providers (Data Processors), they are bound by contract to the same standards — and, as required by the DPDP Act, F-Talk remains responsible for that processing.
5. Sharing
We share your data only with: our team and vetted associates working on your engagement; service providers who help us operate; and authorities where the law requires. We do not share client identities for marketing.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for your engagement and for the retention periods that tax and company law require, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
- Access — ask what data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete data we no longer need.
- Withdraw consent — at any time.
- Grievance redressal — raise a concern and have it addressed.
